The promotion of good health and a healthy lifestyle is an integral part of the mission of the Seventh-day Adventists. The Health Ministries Department of Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division is committed to pursue Christ mission in restoring the image of God in man. \u201c<em>To make man whole<\/em>\u201d is the primary objective of the department. It seeks to fulfil its role by providing resource support, leadership training, event planning and professional support to Adventist churches and members.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Mission<\/h2>\n<p>To prepare the world for Christ\u2019s second return through a loving, caring, and grace-filled ministry to the church and the community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Vision<\/h2>\n<p>Having a Christlike Restorative Health Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Study done by \u00a0Adventist University of Africa Health Study released in 2021<\/h3>\n<p>This research provides \u00a0baseline data on the health conditions of Seventh-Day Adventist members in the continent of Africa.
